Book us to perform traditional Scottish music

In addition to the concerts that we organise ourselves, the orchestras of Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society are available for various entertaining purposes:

• Members of the orchestras have performed concerts at numerous church halls, community centres, and nursing homes to either help with fundraising or simply for entertaining;
• We can also provide music for corporate entertainment and other events. For example, we have performed at Aberdeen's Tartan Day, new car launches and entertained royal visitors during a visit to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary;
• We can provide a wide range of sizes of groups from 4 players upwards
• Playing times can range from 30 mins up to a full length concert

Depending on the nature of the event and the number of players involved we may only request a nominal donation towards our running costs. Contact us to discuss charges for larger and non-commercial events.

Please note that we don't provide a ceilidh band service, although we do perform Scottish dance music as part of a concert programme.
