Conductor celebrates his 21st

Graham Reid's cutting his 21st Anniversary Cake

The Society celebrated Graham Reid's 21 years of work as conductor with a special cake and small gift. (If we're honest he's being doing it that long we lost count, which is why we missed his 20th anniversary).

At the first rehearsal of our new concert session on 1 September 2008 we presented Graham with the cake and a bottle of Laphroaig whisky (his favourite after lengthy analysis of post concert parties) to thank him for all his work.

During the presentation Vice President Karen Gill noted that the Society would be lost without him and whilst he might not want to clock up another 21 years we hope he's not going to hang up his baton anytime soon.

If you wondered what Graham looked like before he became conductor and all the grey hairs set in, a before picture is below.
