Highlights: 

Make a donation to Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society. The Society is a registered Scottish Charity and depends on donations and the sale of our CDs to help fund our annual running costs.

Gift AidGift AidUse Gift Aid and you can make your donation worth more at no cost to you. Currently for every pound you give to us we can get an extra 25p from HM Revenue & Customs.

This means that £10 can be turned into £12.50 just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make, and it doesn’t cost you a thing.

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount the Society will claim in the tax year.

You can change the value of the donation you want to make. However, the minimum amount we can accept in your basket for online transactions is £5.00 due to card processing charges. If you are buying something else then we can accept donations of less than £5.00.

Other ways to donate

If you don't wish to donate via our website there are alternative ways you can support the Society.

  1. If you are a UK taxpayer you can donate via your UK self assessment tax return. See the HMRC website for more information. You will need the Society's unique code which is LAU95KG
  2. We can accept Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) cheques. Please make it payable to Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society and post it to 23 Cliff View, Newtonhill, Stonehaven, AB39 3GX. See the CAF website for more details about this method of tax efficient giving.
  3. Donate via our special page on the Charities Aid Foundation website using the button link below.
