Help - How to Shop at Our Online Store
Shopping online with us is a lot like shopping at a retail store - you browse our catalogue of products for the items you'd like, put them in a shopping basket, and complete your purchase at the check-out area. The only difference is, we're open 24 hours a day - seven days a week, ...and you can shop the comfort of your home!
So read on and find out how you can enjoy the shopping experience with Our Online Store.
Step 1. Make Your Product Selections
The first thing to do is browse our shop for the items you'd like - they're all listed under the Products heading. As you browse you can view details of our products. You'll also see 'Add/Buy' links. Once you've found a product you'd like, simply add it to your online shopping basket by clicking on the relevant 'Add/Buy' link.
Just like in a retail store, the shopping basket is a holding place for your items until you are ready to purchase them. You can view the contents of your basket at any time by clicking on the 'View Cart' or Your Basket links on the relevant page. You can remove items and change quantities in your basket at any time.
Any discounts that you automatically qualify for will be displayed in the full cart page (unfortunately the mini cart block on the left hand column cannot display discounts earned). Other discount voucher codes can be entered as part of the check out process, see below.
Step 2. Proceed to the Check Out
Once you've decided upon your selection and reviewed your basket, you proceed to the Ordering Stage by clicking "Check Out". As part of the process you may be asked to login if you're an existing customer, or if your a new customer we'll ask for your email address which is used to create an account for you and so we are able to send order acknowledgements and updates to the status of your order.
You'll be asked to enter your personal information including your name and address so we know where to send the goods. You can also enter any discount voucher codes you may have in the appropriate box.
At this point you must decide upon the payment method. Please note for credit/debit card payments we only deliver to the cardholders billing address. UK customers may pay by cheque and instructions on how to send your payment will appear with the order confirmation after you press "Review Order". Anyone can pay online by using a debit/credit card.
See our terms for condtions of contract and our privacy policy including more information on how we use the information you provide. You must tick the box agreeing that you have read and accept the terms and conditions before being able to proceed.
Step 3. Review your order and pay
After pressing the "Review Order" button you will be presented with an order summary including your chosen payment method and final amount to pay. If you are paying by debit or credit card pressing "Submit Order" will result in you being redirected to the secure RBS WorldPay site to enter your card details and complete the order.
You will receive a confirmation that your payment has been processed from RBS WorldPay and a separate email acknowleding receipt of the order from us. You bank or credit card statement will list the purchase as "WP-Aberdeen Strath" with a location of "Stonehaven".
If you're paying by cheque then please post the payment promptly as the despatch process doesn't commence until payment has been received and cleared.
