Aberdeen Tartan Day 2010 is on Saturday 31 July.
We're proud to have been invited once again to perform a variety of traditional Scottish music as part of this year's Tartan Day celebrations.

Members of the orchestra will be entertaining at the Taste of Grampian 2010 festival at Thainstone near Inverurie by performing a variety of traditional Scottish music throughout the day.

Hands up for Trad and their panel of industry judges are once again on the lookout for the very best in the traditional music for this year’s MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. Since 2003, Hands up for Trad have been celebrating the best in Scottish traditional music from across the country.

The senior and junior orchestras of Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society are in concert at the Lemon Tree Studio Theatre, playing a variety of Scottish music. From soulful slow airs to rattlin' reels a great night of traditional entertainment is assured.

Traditional Scottish music group Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society recently updated its constitution to enable it to continue making donations to charity. Their first donation of £1,000 under the new constitution is being presented today to the Archie Foundation - the charity that supports Aberdeen Royal Childrens' Hospital.

Members of traditional Scottish music group Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society provided entertainment during a royal visit to Aberdeen today.
The Countess of Wessex was visiting Aberdeen University's Forresterhill Campus where sight-saving research is carried out.
