Reel & Rowie Coffee Morning

Come along and enjoy a cuppa and a rowie as Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society performs a variety of traditional Scottish music.

The St Devenick's Dancers will also be performing Scottish dancing during the morning.

Orchestra members will also be on hand if you're interested in joining the Society or want to find our more about us.

Charities Online Financial Reporting Award

ICAEW Charities Online Financial Reporting Awards Seal

We're pleased to announce that the Society was named the winner for its income category in a national competition for charities that publish their annual reports and account online, at an awards ceremony held in London on 30 June 2011.

Tartan Day 2011

Members of Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society will be performing a variety of traditional Scottish music in the city centre as part of the Tartan Day celebrations on 30 July 2011.

We'll be performing in Union Terrace Gardens. Exact timings are subject to the running time of the previous acts, but we will be appearing between 3.30pm and 4.15pm.

Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society are hosting the annual Fiddlers' Rally at Aberdeen Music Hall on Saturday 12 November 2011.

Fiddle and accordion players from across Scotland will be joining us for a great evening of traditional Scottish music.

Making a 'reel difference' for CLAN

On 14 March 2011 the Society was pleased to be able to present a cheque for £1,000 to local Aberdeen cancer support charity CLAN (Cancer Link Aberdeen & North). The donation was agreed by the members at the AGM in 2010.

Fiddlers' Spectacular 2011
